Bolting engineered for New Zealand conditions.
New Zealand's industrial base is compact but technically demanding. Taranaki gas production and processing, geothermal generation around Taupō and the Central North Island, the Whangārei industrial precinct, dairy and food processing plants and Auckland's infrastructure programme all rely on bolted joints that have to survive either geothermal chemistry, marine exposure or continuous process duty.
Geothermal service in particular is a materials problem, not a fastener problem. Hydrogen sulphide, chlorides and elevated temperature together will destroy under-specified bolting, so duplex, super duplex and nickel alloy grades are commonly specified in place of coated carbon steel. We select and certify to the actual fluid chemistry rather than defaulting to a catalogue grade.
New Zealand buyers also work across two standards families. We supply ASTM A193, A320 and A194 for process and pressure duty alongside AS/NZS 1252 structural assemblies and metric DIN/ISO items, so a mixed bill of materials can be sourced and certified from one supplier.
Geothermal chemistry is a materials decision. New Zealand scopes get grades selected against the fluid, not against the price list.

Questions New Zealand buyers ask.
Do you supply fasteners to New Zealand?
Yes. We supply certified stud bolts, nuts, washers, gaskets and special fasteners into New Zealand from our Brisbane base, delivering to Auckland, Tauranga, New Plymouth, Whangārei, Taupō, Napier and the South Island, quoted CIF, DAP or DDP as required.
What bolting is specified for New Zealand geothermal plant?
Geothermal fluids combine hydrogen sulphide, chlorides and heat, so duplex, super duplex and nickel alloy grades are typically specified rather than coated carbon steel. Selection is made against the measured fluid chemistry and operating temperature, and certified with PMI and material test certificates.
Can you supply both ASTM and AS/NZS standard fasteners?
Yes. ASTM A193, A320 and A194 process bolting is supplied alongside AS/NZS 1252 structural assemblies and metric DIN/ISO items, so a mixed bill of materials can be sourced, certified and shipped as one consignment.
How long does delivery to New Zealand take?
Air freight into Auckland typically lands within 2–4 working days of dispatch for stocked grades, with sea freight on frequent Brisbane sailings for larger quantities. Packaging is prepared to meet New Zealand biosecurity requirements.
