Grade 2H is a quenched-and-tempered medium-carbon steel nut and the most widely specified companion for ASTM A193 B7 stud bolts in pressure piping and flange joints.
Order 2H nuts with your studs so heat numbers, coating and certificates arrive as one traceable package. Coated nuts need thread allowance confirmed against the coating thickness.
