Overview

A valve manufacturer required a mixed package of stud bolts for various valve assemblies, including cryogenic-rated A320 L7, standard A193 B7, and corrosion-resistant B8M grades, all with Xylan 1424 fluoropolymer coating.

Challenge

The project required three different material grades with identical coating specifications. Coordinating manufacture, coating, and certification across multiple material types while maintaining delivery schedule presented significant logistics challenges.

EMG consolidated the order through our coating partner network, ensuring consistent Xylan 1424 application across all grades. Staged inspection and certification allowed parallel processing to compress the overall timeline.
