GRADE OVERVIEW
Alloy 718 stud bolts, specified correctly.
Alloy 718 is age hardened to very high strength while retaining good corrosion resistance, making it a common choice for critical studs in power stations, wellhead equipment and subsea service.
Specify the heat-treatment condition and governing specification (ASTM B637, API 6ACRA or AMS), plus hardness limits for sour service. EMG recently dispatched urgent 1-1/4" B637 studs and nuts 36 hours after PO.

Specify matched heavy hex nuts, through-hardened washers and any coating, such as Xylan/PTFE, so the kit is quoted as one traceable package.

Records & inspection
State EN 10204 3.1 or 3.2, PMI, hardness or impact testing and any project ITP so certificates are confirmed before order.
