C-276 is a nickel-molybdenum-chromium alloy considered for demanding chemical-process environments. It is not universally resistant to every acid, concentration or mixed process stream.

No automatic substitutions
C-276 is not C-22 or Alloy 20. A generic Hastelloy description is insufficient for procurement and does not permit substitution.

Verify the finished part
State the required chemical, mechanical, hardness and dimensional records. Request EN 10204 3.1 / 3.2, PMI or witness inspection where the project requires them; the quotation must identify the agreed scope.
