    The right alloy.
    The right specification.

Alloy 625 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum-niobium alloy primarily strengthened by solid solution. Its role in corrosion-exposed hardware differs from precipitation-hardening grades such as 718 and 725.

EMG reviews Inconel 625 requirements through qualified supply partners. Include the drawing revision, quantity, material condition and required site date so sourcing and documentation can be defined before an order is placed.

    RFQ CHECK

Specify the product form and annealing condition. ASTM B446 bar requirements do not, by themselves, define a finished fastener standard.

Reference designations are not stock, certified equivalence or guaranteed service suitability. Final product requirements govern every quotation.

    WHERE THE SPECIFICATION MATTERS

    Engineered around the application

    Offshore oil and gas platform

    Chemical plant and offshore components

Specified bolts, studs, nuts and valve parts where the approved design calls for Alloy 625 corrosion performance.

Socket head cap screws illustrating threaded-component applications

    Fastener assemblies

Studs, hex bolts and companion nuts in Inconel 625 to the approved drawing. Confirm thread form, length, mating material and any coating requirements.

Duplex machined valve body illustrating valve-component geometry, not the featured alloy

    Parts to drawing

Shafts, sleeves, collars and valve parts supplied through qualified manufacturing partners. Fits, surface finish, treatment and usable capacity are confirmed per enquiry.

    ENGINEERING CHECKPOINTS

    01

    The product specification governs

Specify the product form and annealing condition. ASTM B446 bar requirements do not, by themselves, define a finished fastener standard.

    02

    No automatic substitutions

625 is not an automatic replacement for 718: alloy chemistry, strengthening mechanism and acceptance properties differ.

    03

    Verify the finished part

State the required chemical, mechanical, hardness and dimensional records. Request EN 10204 3.1 / 3.2, PMI or witness inspection where the project requires them; the quotation must identify the agreed scope.
