GRADE OVERVIEW
Duplex 2205 stud bolts, specified correctly.
2205 combines ferrite and austenite for higher strength and better chloride stress corrosion cracking resistance than 316 stainless.
Specify phase balance (ferrite) testing, hardness limits and NORSOK M-650 qualification if your project requires them, because duplex properties depend on correct processing.

Specify matched heavy hex nuts, through-hardened washers and any coating, such as Xylan/PTFE, so the kit is quoted as one traceable package.

Records & inspection
State EN 10204 3.1 or 3.2, PMI, hardness or impact testing and any project ITP so certificates are confirmed before order.
