Mining, Potash & Heavy Oil Fasteners for Saskatchewan
Regina · Saskatoon · Lloydminster · Kindersley · Esterhazy
Saskatchewan's potash and uranium mills, heavy oil batteries and utility power stations face chloride brine, abrasive slurry and severe prairie winters. We supply certified fasteners selected for corrosion resistance, cold toughness and strength.
Engineered supply, not off-the-shelf.
Consignments are shipped by air into Saskatoon or Regina, or by sea via Vancouver with onward rail, with documentation issued before dispatch.
Energy Materials Group supplies corrosion-resistant duplex, coated and cold-service bolting to Saskatchewan potash, heavy oil and power projects from a non-US supply base, with EN 10204 3.1 certification.
What the joint has to survive
Potash brine & chlorides
Process plant bolting in chloride brine is commonly supplied in duplex, super duplex or coated alloy steel to resist pitting and crevice corrosion.
Heavy oil batteries
Treaters, tanks and flowlines use B7 / 2H and sour-service bolting where H₂S is present, supplied in kits per joint.
Prairie winter
Outdoor structural and pressure joints use impact-tested low-temperature grades confirmed against the project specification.

Common questions
Which fasteners resist potash brine corrosion?
Duplex and super duplex stainless, and coated alloy steel systems, are typically selected for chloride brine service. The material is confirmed against your process conditions and specification.
Can you kit bolting for a mill shutdown?
Yes. Turnaround scopes are kitted, bagged and tagged per joint against your flange list and certified before dispatch.
Is your bolting supplied from outside the United States?
Yes. Canadian orders are dispatched from our Brisbane, Australia hub and shipped direct to your consignee or customs broker — they are not routed through the United States. Every quote states the declared country of origin and HS classification so your broker can confirm duty treatment before you commit. We do not provide customs or duty advice.
