LNG & Gas Processing Fasteners for British Columbia

Kitimat · Prince Rupert · Fort St. John · Dawson Creek · Vancouver

British Columbia's LNG liquefaction trains, Montney gas processing plants and coastal export terminals combine cryogenic duty, sour gas and marine salt exposure. We supply certified bolting and gaskets matched to each of those service conditions.

    OVERVIEW

    Engineered supply, not off-the-shelf.

Pacific sea freight lands direct into Vancouver or Prince Rupert from Australia, with air freight available into Vancouver for urgent or shutdown scopes.

Energy Materials Group supplies cryogenic, sour-service and duplex bolting to British Columbia LNG and Montney gas projects via direct Pacific shipping into Vancouver and Prince Rupert — not via the United States.

    SERVICE CONDITIONS

What the joint has to survive

    Cryogenic LNG

Liquefaction and storage systems use low-temperature and austenitic bolting families verified to the design minimum temperature, with impact-test data in the certification pack.

    Coastal marine exposure

Terminal and jetty bolting sees salt-laden, wet atmosphere — duplex, super duplex and PTFE/Xylan or hot-dip galvanised coated bolting are selected to resist corrosion.

    Montney sour gas

Gas processing and gathering in the Montney uses NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 compliant bolting with documented hardness control.

    FAQ

    Common questions

How does freight reach Kitimat and Prince Rupert?

Sea freight runs direct across the Pacific into Prince Rupert or Vancouver, with onward road or rail to site. Urgent scopes travel by air into Vancouver. Transit is confirmed at quotation.

Do you supply bolting for LNG cryogenic service?

Yes — low-temperature and austenitic bolting families verified to the design minimum temperature, with Charpy impact data and EN 10204 3.1 certification.

Is your bolting supplied from outside the United States?

Yes. Canadian orders are dispatched from our Brisbane, Australia hub and shipped direct to your consignee or customs broker — they are not routed through the United States. Every quote states the declared country of origin and HS classification so your broker can confirm duty treatment before you commit. We do not provide customs or duty advice.
